The glossy brochure says "We formally consulted the residents from (sic) the 29,000 homes we manage and own across every part of the Peabody Group." "We received 1,450 responses."

5% response rate. But of these 1,450, 617 were "void". So only 833 were actual votes. So down to under 3%. And of these, 140 were "negative", 273 were "neutral" and 420 were "positive". A massive 1.45% of households were positive about this merger.

How do they have the nerve to present this as positive and a reason for us to join in all the other wonderful opportunities to participate in their oh so responsive consultation processes?

Wow! 1,450 responses out of 29,000 homes!
i can only conclude that most residents ignored the survey because they know from bitter experience whatever they say is irrelevant & will not be listened to.

Indeed, and I can remember when they 'consulted' us on estate offices. Nowhere in their 'survey' were there words "would you like to keep your estate office". Instead, the options were "would you like to contact us by phone" or "would you like to contact us by email". Shabby. Peabody doesn't give a monkey's what we think.

It is not as though the Family Mosaic merger info for the consultation actually gave any relevant information on which to base a decision. All empty waffle. It was the same when Peabody was deregistering as a charity.
